About Guernsey AC

Guernsey Athletics Club is based at Footes Lane in St Peter Port, Guernsey. Its modern history dates from the post-war revival of island athletics in 1946, although organised athletics on Guernsey goes back further. The club adopted the company name Guernsey Athletics Club LBG in November 2022.

Track and field, road running and cross-country share the programme. The Easter Running Festival brings four races over four days, alongside local road and cross-country series. Off-island competition gives athletes opportunities beyond Guernsey, from county and southern meetings to national events, while the Island Games provide another important focus.

The club has separate junior stages, including Colts for school Years 3 to 5 and an under-13 group for Years 6 and 7. Families should contact the club about space before paying, as waiting lists can apply. Newcomers can arrange introductory sessions, and the JoinIn membership system handles registration. Footes Lane is the track base; road and cross-country venues depend on the event or training group.
