About Galway Triathlon Club
Galway Triathlon Club was founded in 2004 and draws members from Galway city, the county and surrounding areas. Its structured training programme brings swimming, cycling and running together for people preparing for a first race as well as those working towards longer-distance events.
Members also take part in duathlon, aquathlon and aquabike, so there are ways to compete using two disciplines as well as all three. The club has a junior section for ages 16 to 18 and uses coached sessions to support progression. Its official membership information is the best starting point for finding the current programme and a suitable training group.
