About Forest of Dean AC
Forest of Dean AC was founded in 1982 and serves athletes around Coleford and the Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire, England. The registered charity is run by volunteers and welcomes people seeking fitness, competition or a return to regular activity.
Qualified coaches provide sessions for younger athletes, older juniors and adults. The club places participation alongside performance, with its Five Acres High School track providing a meeting point for people interested in trying athletics. Its website also carries social-run information, a club championship and pages for the Christmas Tree and Fountain Five races.
Newcomers are invited to contact the club secretary or visit the track on a Tuesday evening to talk, watch or join in as appropriate. Training-group registration is handled through connectMyClub. The published correspondence address is separate from the school track, so visitors should use the training venue and confirm the correct group before attending.
