About Fingal Triathlon Club
Fingal Triathlon Club was set up in 2009 by people looking for varied training and company in north County Dublin, Ireland. It welcomes juniors and adults, from newcomers building confidence to athletes preparing for longer triathlons. Members also take part in swimming, cycling, running, duathlon and adventure racing without necessarily competing in every discipline.
Training is spread across Fingal rather than based at one clubhouse. The club lists pool sessions at Sportlink and the National Aquatic Centre, sea swimming around Donabate and Tower Bay, and runs at Newbridge Park and Ardgillan Castle. Cycling routes reach into north Dublin and Meath. Members should check the current timetable and suitability of each session before attending.
The club organises triathlon and aquabike events in Skerries alongside junior activities, skills sessions and social evenings. Membership is arranged through Triathlon Ireland, and the joining guidance requires Triathlon Ireland membership before training. The club secretary can explain trial arrangements, junior availability and how to book sessions.
