About Farnham Triathlon Club
Farnham Triathlon Club was established in 1985 in Farnham, Surrey, England, and draws members from the neighbouring Hampshire and Berkshire borders. Its programme covers swimming, cycling and running for beginners through to experienced triathletes. Members take on sprint and standard-distance triathlons as well as duathlons, aquathlons and longer-distance events. The club also helps run the Hart Triathlon in Fleet, giving members opportunities to volunteer as well as race.
Training is spread across Farnham Leisure Centre, Aldershot Garrison and, in summer, Blackbushe. The youth squad welcomes eight- to sixteen-year-olds, with pool coaching and seasonal cycling on the closed go-kart circuit at Blackbushe. Youth sessions develop bike handling, running and transitions as well as swimming; helmets are compulsory for cycling. New members can contact the general-enquiries address or head coach before booking. Farnham Leisure Centre is the published club address, not a claim that every discipline trains at the same site.
