About Farnham Town Running Club
Farnham Town Running Club brings runners together in Farnham, Surrey, England, with an emphasis on health, friendship and involvement in the local community. Its base at Farnham Town Football Club provides changing facilities and a place to meet before and after runs.
Wednesday is the main club night, with a briefing before groups head out on routes matched to different paces. Farnham Park, the North Downs Way, Caesar's Camp and Waverley Abbey are among the areas used. Hills, trails and roads give the programme variety, while social events and club awards recognise participation as well as racing.
Prospective members can try two Wednesday runs before committing. Membership options differ in their England Athletics affiliation and coaching benefits, and some track sessions carry a separate charge. The membership secretary can explain those choices and help identify a suitable group. Members use the club's Spond app to follow runs, races and social arrangements.
