About Farnham Common Joggers & Wheelers Sports Club (JAWS)
Farnham Common Joggers and Wheelers, known as JAWS, began in 1983 in Buckinghamshire, England. The group describes itself as a society of local people who enjoy keeping active together, with a membership now largely made up of retired residents.
Sunday mornings are its regular gathering: an hour of exercise is followed by breakfast hosted by a member. Jogging and cycling sit alongside monthly walks, golf, lunches and outings, so its programme extends beyond a conventional running-club training week.
People interested in joining can contact the named public enquiry contact on the club website to discuss the activities and current meeting arrangements. Venues vary and some gatherings take place at members' homes; the directory therefore identifies the Farnham Common area without presenting a private address as an open clubhouse.
