About Falmouth Running Club
Falmouth Running Club has been active in Falmouth, Cornwall, England, since 1987. Its Tuesday club night meets at Falmouth Cricket Club on Trescobeas Road, with several running formats and time afterwards to meet other members in the clubhouse.
Summer training makes use of local trails, while winter brings more road running. Thursday coaching includes speed, intervals and strength work, and Saturday social runs often finish with coffee. Members race in Cornwall's road and multi-terrain series and help marshal the club's own events. Pub runs, a summer barbecue and an annual dinner also bring runners and their families together.
The club accepts adults aged 18 and over. Regular newcomers should be comfortable running four miles and can try three sessions before joining.
