About Fairwater Runners Cwmbran
Fairwater Runners Cwmbran meets at Cwmbran Stadium in Torfaen for group training on roads, cross-country and mixed-terrain routes. Runs include cut-off points so members who want a shorter outing can take one. The club describes itself as a small, sociable group and welcomes runners with different levels of experience.
Training is complemented by time trials, handicap events and arranged track sessions. Members also represent the club in GLCL road and cross-country races and the Gwent Cross Country League, giving regular opportunities to contribute to a team. Anyone interested in trying a session should contact the club first to confirm the meeting arrangements and a suitable group.
