About Ely Tri Club
Ely Tri Club brings together swimmers, cyclists and runners in Ely, Cambridgeshire, England. Affiliated to Triathlon England, it supports people taking their first steps in multisport as well as experienced competitors. Members take part in triathlons, duathlons, open-water swims, charity runs and adventure races.
Coached swimming at the Hive Leisure Centre forms a regular meeting point. The wider programme includes run training, club rides, triathlon skills and seasonal open-water swimming, with arrangements changing through the year. The club's events include its duathlon and Ely Runfest.
Prospective members can contact the membership team about a trial swim and suitable training. Joining requires the club's membership form and payment arrangements to be completed; some coached sessions carry separate charges. The club currently states that it has no junior section, so families should enquire rather than assume that adult sessions accept children.
