About Eastleigh RC
Eastleigh Running Club began in Hampshire, England, in 1988 when Paul Dibden brought together four runners at a local cricket club. It later moved to Crestwood College and, in 2010, to the Fleming Park leisure facilities now known as Places for People Leisure.
The club's race-organising history runs from the Chandler's Ford 10K to the Marwell 10K and its involvement with the Eastleigh 10K. Today its programme combines road racing, cross-country leagues and a social calendar shared through the Running Moon newsletter.
Regular training uses the Eastleigh leisure centre and Knightwood Leisure Centre in Chandler's Ford, with selected track sessions at Wyvern College. Prospective members should check the session listing before travelling. The club welcomes runners aged 16 and over who can already run five kilometres continuously, and its website contact form is the starting point for questions about joining or finding a suitable group.
