About East London Runners
East London Runners is based in Wanstead, east London, England, and draws runners from neighbouring areas including Snaresbrook, Woodford, Leyton, Leytonstone, Ilford and Stratford. Members take part in distances from five kilometres to ultramarathons, on roads and cross-country courses.
The published weekly pattern includes a Monday track night, a Wednesday club run and a longer Sunday outing, with parkrun also part of the weekend calendar. Wednesday runs meet at the rugby club on Nutter Lane. Other sessions have their own arrangements, so that address should not be treated as the start point for every run.
The club welcomes new members and provides a public enquiry email, Facebook group and Instagram account. Prospective runners can use those channels to ask about the right group, current meeting times and any beginner provision.
