About East Grinstead Runners
East Grinstead Runners was established in June 2018 in East Grinstead, West Sussex, England. Its weekly programme combines Tuesday sessions focused on technique, hills or intervals with Thursday recovery runs and longer Sunday trail outings.
Many runs meet at East Grinstead railway station, but East Court and the K2 track in Crawley also feature in the programme. Members therefore need to check the advertised location for each session. The main membership page is aimed at adults who can run five kilometres, although other parts of the site give a different minimum age; younger applicants should ask the membership team for clarification.
The club’s community activities include fundraising, litter-picking runs and support for local groups such as Jigsaw South East, Special Families and the 4th East Grinstead Scouts. Cofounder Caz Gould helped establish the club and served as its first secretary. Newcomers can use the public membership email to discuss a suitable starting session and current joining requirements.
