About East Cork Tribe
East Cork Tribe is a triathlon club in County Cork, Ireland, with a documented route into the sport through its New to Tri programme. Triathlon Ireland advertised a six-week course from 14 May to 18 June 2026, using Mogeely Greenway car park as its meeting location.
The programme combined cycling, running and open-water swimming. Early evenings paired progressively longer rides with a run afterwards; later sessions introduced swim-and-run and swim-and-cycle combinations before a small concluding event. Newcomers could practise more than one discipline in the same outing.
The advertised May–June course has finished and is not presented as a current intake. Anyone interested in joining should use the published club email or its official social channels to check future courses, swimming expectations and meeting points. Mogeely was the stated programme start, not a confirmed clubhouse or a permanent base for every club session.
