About Diss and District AC
Diss & District Athletics Club was founded in 1952 by local enthusiasts who wanted people to keep training and competing after leaving school. Volunteer coaches and committee members continue that work through the club’s road-running programme, welcoming different abilities and running goals.
The current group meets by the statue at the Mere in Diss for coached running and social sessions. Club life also includes race outings, parkrun visits and cross-country participation. The club currently says it cannot offer junior sessions, so families should enquire before making plans. Adults interested in joining can arrange introductory sessions through the published club email.
