About Diamond Runners
Diamond Runners started in Rushden, Northamptonshire, England, in 2019 and became affiliated to England Athletics in 2020. Its sessions now serve Rushden, Higham Ferrers and Raunds, with the club also listing Wootton in Bedfordshire among its areas.
Qualified leaders and coaches support mixed-ability sessions, from run/walk introductions to training for regular runners. The club also offers individual coaching and free wellbeing walks in conjunction with the local council. Its non-profit approach places community participation alongside running progress.
New runners should contact the club to book a taster rather than arrive at an assumed venue. The first month is offered free before annual membership, and the public email provides an alternative for people who do not use Facebook. Meeting points vary by group and town, so the club should confirm the location and session suited to a newcomer’s experience.
