About Desborough & Rothwell Running Club
Desborough & Rothwell Running Club was started in October 2013 by seven local runners in Northamptonshire, England. England Athletics affiliation followed that December. The club serves runners from the two towns, from people building towards a first 5K to members preparing for marathons and ultras.
Tuesday evenings offer a changing training session, while Thursday runs are arranged by pace. The first Sunday of the month brings a social run followed by coffee and cake. Members enter road and off-road events individually and as club teams, with local parkruns also part of their running week.
The club lists Desborough Leisure Centre as its meeting base. Newcomers can try a run before joining and can email in advance to ask about the right group. Its website links to membership registration and club kit, while the official Facebook page carries day-to-day run updates. Confirm the meeting instructions before a first visit.
