About Dartford Road Runners
Dartford Road Runners was founded in 1998 in Dartford, Kent, England. Fleetdown United Football Club is its base for a programme that combines road training with cross-country competition and social running.
Tuesday and Thursday sessions include intervals, repetitions and tempo work. A shorter Thursday recovery run offers an option for runners returning to training or preferring a gentler outing, while Sunday runs generally cover six to twelve miles. Members can also take part in the monthly handicap, which gives runners of different speeds a shared club challenge.
The club competes in the Kent Fitness League and other team events, and organises the Joydens Wood 5K summer series. Membership is for people over eighteen. Prospective runners should use the contact form to discuss their experience and a suitable session, then follow the membership instructions; the published session programme gives the latest arrangements.
