About Crystal Palace Triathletes

Crystal Palace Triathletes was established in 1993 in south-east London, England. The Crystal Palace Sports Partnership records its organisation of the Crystal Palace Triathlon in the park from 2005. The club combines swimming, cycling and running with a junior programme, an age-group league and championships across several triathlon and related multisport distances.

Its training programme includes coached sessions for adults and juniors, with a seasonal progression from general fitness and technique towards race-specific practice. Members can take part in the Triathlon London League as well as club competitions. Training uses facilities in and around Crystal Palace rather than one venue for every activity; the weekly calendar should be checked before attending.

Adults can register for a two-week trial with tokens for introductory sessions. The trial excludes uncoached Sunday rides and Monday swims. Full membership offers all-inclusive or pay-as-you-go training arrangements, with some additional charges. The junior section, which counts Alex Yee among its former members, requires a booked swim trial, the ability to swim twenty-five metres continuously and to ride a bike. Contact the junior coordinator to confirm current age-group arrangements; the page retains a 2025 age-transition note.
