About Crowborough Runners
Crowborough Runners was founded in 1982 and serves runners in Crowborough, East Sussex, England. Its three-lane all-weather track at Goldsmiths Recreation Ground gives beginners and experienced runners a year-round training base, with floodlighting in winter. Volunteer England Athletics coaches lead structured sessions, while Wednesday outings move between roads in winter and off-road routes in summer. Groups are arranged by pace, including provision for newer runners and those rebuilding their fitness.
The junior section welcomes runners from eight to eighteen for Saturday track training. Adults can try a session or club run before applying, and separate adult and junior membership forms are available on the website. The club also organises the Crowborough 10K and asks members to help with the event. Social activities sit alongside competition, with club runners taking part in the Sussex Grand Prix, cross-country and team relays. Ask the club which group suits you before your first visit.
