Crawley Athletic Club combines track and field with road and cross-country running at K2 Athletics Arena in Crawley, West Sussex. Its history also reaches into ultradistance running: Crawley Museum holds the Len Hurst Belt, presented to the club as the most successful team in the former London-to-Brighton race. On the field, long-serving athlete and volunteer Karen Shackel is among the club's notable javelin throwers.
The current programme includes event-specific coaching and beginner groups from school Year 5. Club sessions are generally on Mondays and Wednesdays, although endurance groups also meet away from the track. Prospective athletes must arrange a trial enquiry before attending.
