About Coventry Triathletes
Coventry Triathletes began as the Sentridge Club in November 1989, founded by Tony Nutt and a colleague. Known for their spotted kit, the club draws members from Coventry, Warwickshire and the wider West Midlands. Its history includes group trips to Windsor and Belgium’s Brasschaat triathlon, alongside the local Coventry Sprint Triathlon that it organises.
Coached pool swimming takes place at King Henry VIII Sports Centre, while member-led runs meet at War Memorial Park. Social rides and informal training groups bring the three disciplines together without requiring everyone to pursue the same race distance. Membership and session bookings use TeamUp; the membership secretary can help newcomers choose the appropriate option and explain separate governing-body memberships.
