About Corsham Running Club
Corsham Running Club is based at Springfield Community Campus in Corsham, Wiltshire, England. Its history brings together Neston Running Club, formed in 1987, and a newer Corsham group: the two agreed to amalgamate in November 1999 after Neston had moved from its original venue.
Adult sessions run on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Friday mornings, with a Wednesday youth session during school terms. Groups range from a sociable three-mile outing to more demanding coached efforts. Summer away runs explore nearby countryside, while the club organises the Corsham 10K and 2K run and the Hazelbury Hurrah trail event.
Prospective members can arrange a free guest run through the membership secretary before applying. The club’s training schedule explains the pace groups and any changes to the usual meeting point. Beginners’ courses have separate advertised start dates, so check the next intake rather than assuming a course is always running.
