About Cork Triathlon Club
Cork Triathlon Club’s present incarnation grew from a meeting at the Silversprings Hotel in November 1998, after an earlier club had disbanded. Its early race programme included a national sprint duathlon championship and King of the Hill in Kinsale. The Lost Sheep followed in 2003, developing into the club’s demanding middle-distance event based in Kenmare.
The club combines swimming, cycling and running with junior activities, coaching and volunteer-led events. Its history records a strong 2018 National Series season, including Donnach Kiely’s overall win. New members can use separate contacts for membership, training and juniors, while race-specific addresses handle questions about King of the Hill and the Lost Sheep.
