About Coltishall Jaguars RC
Coltishall Jaguars grew from a race organised by Alan Groves in memory of his son Mike. The first Mike Groves Run took place in 1999, raising money for Quidenham Children’s Hospice. Its success helped inspire Alan and his younger son Paul to launch the running club in 2004.
Alan remained club president for 20 years, and the Mike Groves race became a central part of the Jaguars’ 10K series. The club’s history reflects both the family behind its beginnings and the friendships formed through regular training and local racing. Members continue that community tradition through club runs, race participation and events supporting local charities.
