About Coastal Striders
Coastal Striders is a community running club in Ramsgate, Kent, England. It welcomes runners from age 12, including people beginning with a mixture of walking and running. Membership and ordinary club runs are free, with registration through the club’s membership form before becoming a full member.
The club has renamed its pace groups Social, Steady and Speedy to help runners choose by the session they want rather than a label such as beginner or advanced. Social sessions include run-walk options, while the faster groups cover more ground. An All Abilities session remains another route for newcomers and people returning to running.
Run leaders can advise on the most suitable outing, and registered members can join the club’s private discussion group for club and social updates. Contact the club before a first visit to confirm the meeting point and arrangements for younger runners. Its published Minster contact address is separate from the Ramsgate running programme.
