About Clonmel Triathlon Club
Clonmel Triathlon Club brings swimmers, cyclists and runners together in Clonmel, County Tipperary. Its training follows the seasons: coached pool sessions at Clonmel Swimming Pool and running blocks lead into summer open-water swimming at Sandybanks. Members also organise group bike rides around Clonmel throughout the year.
Club time trials and supersprint sessions help members practise for racing, alongside the Camida Clonmel Triathlon and youth events. Beginners are welcome, with full, junior and family membership options processed through Triathlon Ireland. Junior members must be accompanied at training by a parent or guardian who is also a club member. Session capacity and meeting arrangements are shared with members, so new starters should contact the club before attending.
