About Clevedon AC
Clevedon Athletic Club was formed in 1977 in Clevedon, North Somerset, England. It offers running on roads, trails, hills and a summer grass track, with members taking part in road relays, cross-country leagues and individual races. Neil Manners and Geoff Hutton are recognised by the club as founder members.
Tuesday and Thursday training is led by qualified coaches. Winter sessions meet at Strode Leisure Centre shortly before 7pm, while summer Tuesday training uses the main field at Clevedon Community School. Training plans support team events such as the Welsh Castles Relay and winter cross-country, with additional group outings at other times.
The club organises the Boxing Day four-mile road race and Midsummer 10K. New runners can arrange a free taster through the contact form, and membership applications are handled online. Senior and student categories begin at sixteen, with other options for families, older runners and social members; ask which category and session fit your circumstances.
