About Chester Triathlon Club
Chester Triathlon Club was formed in 1994 and grew from a small group with no coaches into a club offering organised training across all three disciplines. Early races helped that growth: the Deva Triathlon developed from the Fire Brigade Triathlon, while members practised their transitions at the Sandy Lane training triathlons.
The club’s programme extends beyond triathlon. Its website lists pool and open-water swimming, group rides, coached running, cross-country and a junior section. Events such as Deva Divas, the Dee Mile swim and Christleton 5K give members opportunities to race and volunteer locally. Newcomers can use the club’s joining guidance to find suitable sessions before attending.
