About Chase Harriers
Chase Harriers is a running club in Cannock, Staffordshire, England. Its Tuesday and Thursday evening sessions bring together runners with different goals, from regular exercise and conversation to preparing for a race. The club describes tail runners and group support as part of keeping those sessions welcoming.
The landscape changes with the seasons. Winter runs meet at Cannock Chase Leisure Centre on Stafford Road and use road routes, including loops and out-and-back sessions. In the lighter months the group moves to the White House car park on Cannock Chase for off-road running. The published meeting time is 6.15pm for a 6.30pm start, with runs lasting about an hour.
Members also meet at parkrun, train with other local clubs and take on races together. The club’s enquiry email is the best starting point for a first visit: confirm the current seasonal venue and explain the distance or pace you are comfortable with.
