About Canterbury Harriers
Canterbury Harriers began in 1993 and was reconstituted in 1997. Its runners compete on roads and across country in Kent, including the East Kent Road Relay Series and Kent Fitness League. The club also organises the Whitstable 10K and has a tradition of summer pub runs, awards evenings and trips to races further afield.
The club meets at Birleys Sports Pavilion on St Stephen's Road in Canterbury. Tuesday and Thursday coaching ranges from hill work to longer runs, with occasional weekend outings on local trails. Members can use the training-booking system, while newcomers should use the club's enquiry form to discuss a suitable session. The pavilion is the published meeting point; it should not be confused with a general recreation-centre address.
