About Calne SMaRTT
Calne SMaRTT brings running and triathlon together in Calne, Wiltshire, England. Members can train for a first multisport event or develop their endurance for longer races, with running, swimming and cycling within the same club. Its social events offer another way to get to know the people sharing those sessions.
The published swimming programme uses Marlborough College on Tuesday evenings, with qualified coaches working on technique, fitness and speed. The triathlon programme also includes running fitness sessions, opportunities for weekend group rides, open-water swimming and occasional transition practice. Members arrange additional cycle outings with one another.
Club championships draw on local running and multisport races, including events in the Wiltshire road and off-road leagues. New members can join throughout the year and arrange a free trial with the club secretary. Ask which session suits your experience and where it meets: the swimming venue is separate from the club’s Calne base.
