About Bude Rats (Run and Tri)
Bude RATs has been bringing runners together in the North Cornwall town of Bude since 2008. The Run and Tri name is familiar locally, while the club's current public programme centres on running: a Tuesday social outing and a more focused Thursday training session. Runners are welcome whether their goal is improved fitness, company on a run or preparing for an event.
The club's race programme includes the Bude Lifeboat Run, Bude Pirate Run and Talan's Notorious Trail. Members are encouraged to take part in events around Cornwall and the wider South West, with social activities alongside the racing. Newcomers are offered four sessions before joining. Meeting locations are announced through the club's Facebook group, and separate general and membership email addresses provide a straightforward way to ask which session to try.
