About Broseley Joggers
Broseley Joggers was formed in 2013 by local people with different running ambitions and a shared interest in getting out together. Based in Shropshire, England, the club runs through Broseley and Ironbridge, using the area’s hills and, in drier summer months, the paths of Benthall Woods.
The club welcomes runners aged sixteen and over and offers Tuesday and Thursday evening outings. Leaders use different routes and paces, with looping back to support less experienced runners. The start changes with the seasons: Broseley Library car park after the spring clock change, and the Station car park by the Iron Bridge after the autumn clock change. Neither address should be treated as a year-round start for every run.
Prospective members can try a club run before completing the online membership form. The club distinguishes England Athletics-registered membership from social membership and provides a public enquiry form and Facebook group. Volunteers run the committee and lead sessions, with the club describing leader training as an important part of sustaining its local programme.
