About BRJ Run and Tri
BRJ Run & Tri is based in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, England. It began as BRJ Roadrunners in 1988 and adopted its current name in 2012 as its swimming, cycling and running identity developed. The initials come from the earlier BRJ social club where the runners were originally based, rather than the names of three running-club founders.
The programme combines weekly multisport sessions, a junior section, club championships and winter cross-country through the Frostbite Friendly League. Summer open-water swimming uses Hinchingbrooke Country Park. Fundraising for a chosen charity and regular social events are also part of club life, alongside racing and training.
Prospective members can use the online membership system or the enquiry form and are asked to let the club know before trying a session. Junior membership is published for ages seven to seventeen, although suitable activities should be agreed with the junior team. The lake swimming sessions are for members; the availability of other sessions to non-members does not extend to unrestricted access to those swims.
