About Bracknell AC
Bracknell Athletic Club is a volunteer-run athletics club based at the John Nike Athletics Stadium beside Bracknell Leisure Centre in Berkshire, England. Its programme includes outdoor track and field, indoor athletics and cross-country, with opportunities from introductory children’s sessions through to senior competition.
Children in school years four to six learn fundamental movement and athletics skills through the Young Athlete programme and in-house Quad Kids challenges. From year seven, athletes progress through a multi-event approach towards groups such as sprints, hurdles, jumps, throws and middle distance. Regular competition for the club is part of its membership expectations.
At the October 2026 review, the club advertised waiting lists across its age groups. Prospective members should use the waiting-list and enquiry routes before attending. Training is listed on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, subject to competition arrangements. The club also welcomes people interested in coaching, officiating and other volunteer roles, with training available for newcomers to those tasks.
