About Bolton Triathlon Club
Bolton Triathlon Club brings together swimmers, cyclists and runners from Bolton and the surrounding area of Greater Manchester, England. Members include newcomers to multisport, recreational participants and athletes preparing for events from sprint triathlons to longer-distance races. Junior and family membership options sit alongside the adult programme.
Running and junior run-bike sessions use Leverhulme Park Community Leisure Centre. Swimming takes place at several Bolton pools, with separate ability requirements for different sessions. Social cycle rides vary in route and meeting point, while some winter training uses Zwift and the club also books sessions at Tameside Cycling Circuit.
Session booking is through ClubSpark for members. Anyone wanting an introductory session should contact the chairman or a committee member first so a place can be arranged. Juniors can start from age seven, although the joining page currently reports a waiting list for children aged ten and under. Families should check the relevant swimming requirement and available group before applying.
