About Blackhill Bounders
Blackhill Bounders is based in Consett, County Durham, England. The club's public Strava introduction dates its beginnings to 1987 and describes a membership spanning people running for fitness and company, runners working on personal goals and those who enjoy competition.
The club organises the Steelworks invitational relays on the former Consett Iron Company site at Fawcett Park. Its 2026 event used mixed teams of three, with each runner tackling a hilly circuit and the nearby Blackhill Club serving as race headquarters. That event venue is not presented here as a permanent weekly training base.
The club website provides a Become a Bounder route and links to its official Facebook page. Prospective runners should use those channels to check suitable sessions and meeting points. The opened pages did not give a dependable weekly timetable, so no fixed training time is assumed.
