About Birkenhead Park Running Club
Birkenhead Park Running Club is based at Birkenhead Park Rugby Club in Birkenhead, Wirral, England. It is a separate organisation from Birkenhead Athletic Club in Bebington. A running-club newsletter published by the rugby club in May 2025 describes members tackling local ten-mile and half-marathon races alongside longer road and trail challenges.
That newsletter also records a Couch to 5K programme for beginners and people returning to running. The club's activities therefore extend from first group runs to marathons and ultras, with shared outings and encouragement forming part of the experience.
The May 2025 notice advertised Tuesday and Friday meetings at the rugby club. As that is a dated notice, prospective members should check the running club's official Facebook page for the current schedule and the next beginner intake. The rugby club provides the venue; its rugby membership forms and office contacts should not be treated as running-club registration.
