About Biddulph RC
Biddulph Running Club was founded in 1982 and is based in Biddulph in the Staffordshire Moorlands, England. It caters for runners whose goals range from local parkruns to marathons and ultras. Tuesday and Thursday outings use town routes during the darker months and head towards trails, hills and country parks when the evenings allow. Groups use loop-backs and a back marker to help keep runners together, with shorter options alongside longer club runs.
The regular meeting place is Biddulph Leisure Centre on Thames Drive. New runners can use the club's enquiry form or its published Gmail address to ask which group suits their current distance and experience. Membership distinguishes England Athletics-affiliated competitors, second-claim runners and a social category that does not include running with the club. The club also publishes a championship programme and information about the Knypersley Pool Race. Check the current route notice before a first visit rather than relying on an old start time.
