About Beccles Triathlon Club
Beccles Triathlon Club is a Suffolk multisport club in England with links to British Triathlon, England Athletics, British Cycling and Cycling Time Trials. It welcomes people starting out in swim-bike-run as well as experienced age-group competitors, and allows members to fit sessions around work and family commitments.
Swimming follows the seasons: summer sessions use Beccles Lido, while winter swimming is at Waveney Valley Leisure Centre in Bungay through a shared arrangement with Halesworth Dolphins. Swim places must be booked. Thursday evening runs meet outside Sir John Leman High School, with distances adapted to fitness. Members also take part in local parkruns and help as volunteers.
Cycling includes Sunday social rides, winter road or mountain-bike outings and virtual indoor sessions. Faster rides and time trials are arranged separately. Helmets are compulsory for club rides. The website’s events calendar gives current arrangements, and its Spond joining link and enquiry form provide the route into membership.
