About Beccles & Bungay Harriers
Beccles & Bungay Harriers Athletics Club brings together runners and young athletes around Beccles and Bungay on the Suffolk–Norfolk border in England. Its family-oriented programme includes adult road and endurance groups, older junior running and sprint sessions, and running, jumping and throwing for children aged seven to eleven.
Tuesday and Thursday training uses several local venues. Thursday sessions are based at Sir John Leman High School in Beccles, with grass-track and winter facilities. Tuesday arrangements vary by season and group around Earsham, Bungay and Ellingham. The club’s general introduction and detailed training page give different summer locations, so newcomers should confirm their session’s meeting point directly.
Members take part in local road races, parkruns and cross-country, including the Suffolk Winter League. Qualified coaches and run leaders support the sessions, while a volunteer committee organises club activities. Joining and session bookings use LoveAdmin, with a membership enquiry email available for help. Published fee information spans older seasons, making the membership team the best source for current charges.
