About Bearbrook Running & Triathlon Club
Bearbrook Running & Triathlon Club brings together road runners, trail runners and triathletes in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, England. Triathlon became part of the club’s name in 2013, building on an established running club. Running members automatically belong to the triathlon section, whose participants range from first-time multisport athletes to experienced long-distance competitors.
The running week mixes Monday road groups, Tuesday intervals, Wednesday off-road outings and tempo sessions on many Fridays. Selected Sundays offer longer countryside runs, sometimes with a walking option. Club-led runs have qualified England Athletics run leaders and first aiders; informal social runs are organised separately by members.
Swimming and cycling are arranged more flexibly. Bearbrook publishes swim sets and members organise summer open-water outings and rides through their social group. It does not currently offer a formal cycling-session timetable.
