About Balsall Common Run Club
Balsall Common Run Club was formed in 2014 in Balsall Common, in England’s West Midlands. Its regular base is the Lant Sports and Community Centre on Meeting House Lane. Thursday and Saturday sessions bring local adults together for running without a fixed minimum pace or distance requirement.
The club’s approach allows people with different levels of experience to find a place in the group. It also runs occasional introductory programmes, described as 5-to-5K, for people taking their first steps into regular running. These are separate courses, so a prospective beginner should check when the next one is available rather than assume a course is always running.
New members can contact the membership team to discuss the right session and confirm the meeting arrangements. The club website supplies both membership and chair contacts, alongside joining information. The Lant centre is a practical gathering point for training and club life; the current session instructions remain the best guide for a first visit.
