About Audley Striders Running Club
Audley Striders Running Club was founded in December 2018 and serves Audley and the surrounding Staffordshire villages in England. Its programme includes shorter road and trail runs, longer groups and run-walk sessions known as Jeffing. Couch to 5K courses give new runners a route into the club. The annual Audley Festive 5K, organised with support from the Rotary Club of Audley, combines fancy-dress running with fundraising for local charities.
Audley Cricket Club is the home base, although some runs start elsewhere. Group leaders use a loop-back system so faster runners can cover extra ground without splitting the group. Tuesday routes change with the season and include options around 5K and 10K; the club publishes current arrangements through its website and member channels. Prospective runners can email the shared enquiry address to choose a suitable first session. A separate walking group and social events provide ways to take part beyond club runs.
