About Athy Triathlon Club

Athy Triathlon Club was created in 2012 by a small group in south Kildare who shared an interest in multisport. It welcomes people working towards improved fitness as well as those preparing for races. Members can take part in one discipline, such as cycling, without being expected to compete in a triathlon.

Club members enter duathlons, triathlons and aquathlons, along with running events from 5K to marathons and occasional adventure races. A junior section and the club’s Flat Out duathlon events add opportunities for younger athletes. The website provides separate guidance for juniors and for people who are new to triathlon or returning after a break.
