About Mallusk Harriers
Mallusk Harriers was founded in 2010 and serves Newtownabbey and the surrounding area of Northern Ireland. Its junior and senior sections take part in road running, cross-country, trails and track and field. Volunteers, coaches and members support a programme that makes room for recreational runners as well as competitive athletes.
For complete beginners, Run Newtownabbey provides a spring Couch to 5K route into regular running. Runners who can already manage 5K comfortably can email the membership officer to arrange a trial at a Tuesday senior session. The club also has community connections with Valley parkrun and Brown Shoes Triathlon Club, while its headquarters are at Academy Sports Club on Mallusk Road.
