Belfast Running Club brings together runners from across the greater Belfast area for sessions in the south of the city. Ormeau Park is its usual home area, although the club has no premises of its own. The programme combines Tuesday training around Ormeau with Thursday sessions at varying locations.
Prospective members are asked to make contact before attending and can try two weeks of training before deciding whether to join. The recommended starting point is being able to run 5K. A club race series, parkrun outings and member stories sit alongside the training programme, giving runners ways to get involved beyond the weekly sessions. Check the club’s current schedule for the exact meeting point.
