About Castlecomer A.C.
Castlecomer Athletic Club serves Castlecomer and the surrounding north Kilkenny area in Ireland. Its own account in Kilkenny’s community directory says the club was reformed in 1984. It offers athletics for juveniles, juniors, seniors and masters, alongside Fit4Life activity for people who want to build fitness.
The club covers track and field, cross-country and road running, from shorter road races through to marathons. Its coaches work across running, hurdling, jumping and throwing. Castlecomer Community School is the principal venue named by both the club and Athletics Ireland; other training locations include Castlecomer Discovery Park and Scanlon Park at The Watershed in Kilkenny.
The community listing describes separate juvenile and Fit4Life sessions at the school. As that timetable was published in 2023, new members should confirm the current group and meeting time through the club’s email or Facebook page. The school address identifies a training venue rather than a club correspondence office.
