About Carraig Mhór A.C.
Carraig Mhór AC is based in Carrigtwohill, County Cork, Ireland. Athletics Ireland lists it as a mixed club, and Cork Athletics identifies Carrigtwohill Community Centre as its training location. It is a separate club from Carraig na bhFear AC and should not be confused with similarly named Cork organisations.
Cork Sports Partnership's 2026 introductory athletics programme included Carraig Mhór, with a six-week teenage-girls course scheduled to start at the community centre on 24 April. The programme emphasised running fundamentals, confidence and supportive coached participation. That dated course illustrates local activity; it is not a promise of an ongoing Friday class.
For current ages, sessions and places, contact the club through the email and Facebook page published by Cork Athletics. Athletics Ireland also provides its membership route. A founding year and notable former members remain unconfirmed in the opened sources, so no history or athlete associations are inferred from the directory listing alone.
